    SEE ALSO...

ACTL7B Antibody (F-1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG3 antibody that detects ACTL7B of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-ACTL7B antibody (F-1) is available as a non-conjugated format. ACTL7B, also known as actin-like 7B, is a crucial member of the actin-related protein (ARP) family, characterized by its actin fold structure, which plays a significant role in essential cellular processes such as spindle orientation, nuclear migration, and chromatin remodeling. ACTL7B is primarily localized in the cytoplasm and is notably expressed in the testis and prostate, where ACTL7B contributes to cellular dynamics and organization. With a length of 415 amino acids, ACTL7B is encoded by a gene situated in a head-to-head orientation with the familial dysautonomia candidate region on chromosome 9; however, ACTL7B is not implicated in the pathogenesis of this genetic disorder. ACTL7B exhibits a high degree of sequence similarity with ACTL7A, sharing 88% sequence identity between human and mouse proteins, and contains critical phosphorylation sites, including one for protein kinase C and another for cAMP/cGMP-dependent kinases, which are vital for its regulatory functions.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-398446 P appropriate for?

    Asked by: TinTin
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
