Peroxin 6 Antibody (F-6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects Peroxin 6 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Peroxin 6 (F-6) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Peroxin 6 plays a crucial role in peroxisome biogenesis, which is essential for proper functioning of peroxisomes—organelles vital for lipid metabolism and detoxification of reactive oxygen species.
