NF-1A를 위한 NF-1항체

NF-1 항체(A-12)는 마우스 단일 클론 IgG1 항체로, 웨스턴 블롯팅(WB), 면역 침전(IP), 면역 형광(IF), 면역 조직 화학 및 효소 결합 면역 흡착 분석(ELISA) 등의 응용 분야를 통해 마우스, 쥐 및 인간 샘플에서 NF-1을 검출합니다. CTF라고도 알려진 NF-1은 CCAAT 박스 결합 단백질 계열의 중요한 구성원으로, DNA 복제를 촉진하고 전사를 활성화하는 데 중요한 역할을 합니다. NF-1은 아미노 말단 DNA 결합 도메인을 사용하여 특정 DNA 요소에 동이합체로 결합하고, 프롤린이 풍부한 카르복시 말단 전사인산화 도메인을 통해 전사를 활성화합니다. what isoform of NF1 detected by this antibody? why NF1 protein shown in WB is about 70K as it is know NF1 protein is about 300K in molecular weight.

Thank you for your question. NF1 has a calculated molecular weight of approximately 47 kDa and is observable at higher molecular weights in western blots due to a number of post-translational modifications. The antibody is capable of detecting all NF-1 isoforms of mouse, rat and human origin by WB, IP, IF, IHC(P) and ELISA.

When should the TransCruz reagent sc-74445 X be used instead of the standard form sc-74445?

Thank you for your question. We recommend using the TransCruz reagent form when performing ChIP or GelShift assays. This form can also be used in other applications such as Western Blot or IHC, but the dilution should be adjusted by a factor of 10 to account for the higher original concentration.

Is this against NFI (Nuclear Factor I) or NF-1 (neurofibromin-1)?  If the former, which family member NFIA, NFIB, NFIC or NFIX?

Thank you for your question. This antibody detects NF-1, Nuclear Factor I, and it will detect all the isoforms. If you go to the product block and click on the "gene info" tab, you can see which isoforms it detects (NFIA, NFIB, NFIC and NFIX).
