IFN-γRβ Antibody (A-11) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects human IFN-γRβ by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). IFN-γRβ Antibody (A-11) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. IFN-γRβ plays a crucial role in immune response as an essential component of the signaling pathway activated by interferon-gamma (IFN-γ), a key cytokine involved in antiviral and immunomodulatory activities. The receptor complex, including both IFN-γRα and IFN-γRβ, enables transcriptional activation of IFN-γ-responsive genes, influencing cell proliferation and differentiation. IFN-γRβ, also known as AF-1, comprises 332 amino acids in mice and 337 amino acids in humans, functioning as the signal transducing component of the receptor. Proper functioning of IFN-γRβ is critical for effective immune responses to pathogens, making research on this protein essential for understanding immune responses and developing therapeutic strategies.
