GATA-1 항체(N6)는 웨스턴 블롯(WB), 면역침전(IP), 면역형광(IF), 면역조직화학(IHC)을 통해 쥐, 쥐, 인간에서 유래된 GATA-1을 검출하는 쥐 단일클론 IgG2a 항체입니다. GATA-1(N6) 항체는 비접합 형태와 아가로스, 호스래디시 퍼옥시다아제, 피코에리트린, 플루오레세인 이소티오시아네이트, 여러 알렉사 플루오르® 접합체를 포함한 다양한 접합체 형태로 제공됩니다. GATA-1은 적혈구 생성에 중요한 역할을 하는데, 적혈구 특이적 유전자의 전사 조절에 필수적이기 때문에 적혈구 발달에 영향을 미치기 때문입니다. GATA-1의 기능은 적절한 조혈에 필수적이며, GATA-1의 조절 장애는 빈혈과 기타 적혈구 계통 관련 질병을 포함한 다양한 혈액 질환을 유발할 수 있습니다. GATA-1은 유전자 조절에 중요한 WGATAR 합의 서열에 결합할 수 있는 보존된 아연 핑거 DNA 결합 도메인을 특징으로 합니다. Is sc-265 X also suitable for Western blotting?

Thank you for your question. Yes, you can use sc-265 X for Western blotting. The only difference is that the "X" version of the antibody is 10x more concentrated in a buffer without gelatin (PBS + sodium azide only). Therefore, we recommend adjusting the recommended dilutions for Western blotting accordingly. For example, instead of using a 1:100 dilution, you could use a 1:1,000 dilution for Western blotting with the sc-265 X version of the antibody.

Does GATA-1 (N6) sc-265 antibody recognize the full and short isoform of GATA-1?

Thank you for your question. GATA-1 Antibody (N6) is a rat monoclonal IgG2a raised against recombinant GATA-1 of mouse origin. The exact epitope recognized by this monoclonal antibody has not been determined. We have not specifically tested this antibody for reactivity with different isoforms of GATA-1. We recommend you refer to some of the product citations using this antibody to see if anyone else has published this information previously.

Does GATA-1 (N6) sc-265 bind to N-terminal or C-terminal of GATA1? I want to detect N-terminal only. Thank you.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from WorksFirst purchased this antibody in 2012 and 3 years later, it stopped working despite different antigen retrieval methods. Many SC antibodies work well beyond their recommended use date, but this is not one of them. So re-ordered in 2018 and it works well. We used this antibody on PFA fixed, paraffin embedded mouse testis cut at 5um sections, for immuno-fluorescent staining. We used a pH6 antigen retrieval method in a PT-Link machine or pressure cooker. NOTE: The antibody does not work on bouin fixed tissues.
