FOXM1 Antibody (E-10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody engineered to detect FOXM1 across mouse, rat, and human species through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). FOXM1 monoclonal antibody (E-10) specifically recognizes an epitope mapping between amino acids 735-763 at the C-terminus of human FOXM1, ensuring precise binding and reliable detection. Forkhead box M1 (FOXM1), also called FKHL16, HFH11, INS-1, and PIG29, is a pivotal transcription factor that plays a critical role in regulating cell proliferation, cell cycle progression, and DNA repair by activating key cell cycle regulators such as cyclin B1, cyclin D1, and Cdc25B. The structure of FOXM1, particularly its C-terminal region targeted by anti-FOXM1 antibody (E-10), is essential for interaction with DNA and other regulatory proteins, enabling control of gene expression necessary for the transition from G1 to S phase and mitosis. FOXM1 interacts with several key proteins that modulate function and stability, including Polo-like kinase 1 (PLK1), which phosphorylates FOXM1 to enhance transcriptional activity, and Cdc25B, a phosphatase that plays a role in cell cycle regulation. FOXM1 interacts with β-catenin, linking to the Wnt signaling pathway, and with tumor suppressor p53, influencing p53-mediated responses to cellular stress. These interactions are crucial for maintaining proper cell cycle control and ensuring accurate DNA replication and repair. Dysregulation of FOXM1 and its interactions is often associated with various cancers, as overactive FOXM1 can lead to uncontrolled cell division and tumor progression. FOXM1 (E-10) antibody is available in both non-conjugated form and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates, providing versatility for diverse experimental needs. By utilizing anti-FOXM1 antibody (E-10), researchers can effectively investigate the intricate network of FOXM1 interactions in both normal and pathological states, thereby advancing the understanding of its role in diseases such as cancer and facilitating the development of targeted therapeutic strategies.
