Does it work for IF using Rat or Mouse tissue?

I am using the LiCor/Odyssey system. Which secondary antibody do you recommend using with cyclin A (B-8): sc-271682?

We recommend using one of our our exclusive Mouse IgG Binding Proteins (m-IgGκ) conjugated to CFL 680 or CFL 790. They are suitable for use with Near-Infrared (NIR) detection systems, such as LI-COR/Odyssey and other comparable systems. Rated 1 out of 5 by Anonymous from New antibody lot doesn't perform well anymoreUnfortunately, after repurchasing the antibody it did not perform as previous lot. I have used old lot for IF at 1:500 dilution in human RPE1 cells successfully and got a specific nuclear staining. However, when I purchased the antibody again it was totally non-specific and resulted mainly in cytoplasmic localisation. I have contacted Santa Cruz support and they sent me a replacement, but even the replacement was not performing as the old antibody lot. It is very disappointing that different antibody lots are not reproducible.

Rated 4 out of 5 by CamRe from Works well for western blot and IPI have used this antibody for WB 1:500. It recognises a band at 54 kDa. However it also detects a band around 102 kDa. It also perform well for IP, 2 ug with 500ug lysate for RPE1 cells 2h RT. Looking forward to test if for IF.
