SEE ALSO...

CD45 Antibody (F10-89-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody developed to target CD45, also known as Protein Tyrosine Phosphatase Receptor Type C (PTPRC). CD45 is a crucial transmembrane glycoprotein expressed on the surface of all nucleated hematopoietic cells in humans, playing an essential role in regulating immune cell signaling and activation. Located on the cell membrane, CD45 facilitates critical signal transduction pathways by dephosphorylating key tyrosine residues on Src family kinases such as Lck and Fyn, as well as on Syk family kinases like ZAP-70. This strategic localization is vital for controlling T and B cell receptor signaling, thereby influencing lymphocyte development, activation, and overall immune responses. Anti-CD45 antibody (F10-89-4) is raised against T lymphocytes of human origin, ensuring effective detection in various applications including western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and flow cytometry (FCM). CD45 (F10-89-4) antibody recognizes multiple isoforms of CD45, which arise from alternative splicing of the CD45 gene, allowing for the identification and analysis of different immune cell subsets. Anti-CD45 antibody (F10-89-4) enables comprehensive studies of immune cell populations and their signaling mechanisms, making CD45 (F10-89-4) monoclonal antibody an indispensable tool for both research and diagnostic purposes in immunology and hematology. CD45 monoclonal antibody (F10-89-4)′s ability to detect various isoforms enhances research potential in understanding immune system dynamics and developing targeted therapies for immune-related diseases.

Can CD45 (F10-89-4): sc-52490 monoclonal antibody be used in IF or IHC with mouse tissue or cells? Will there be non-specific staining?

Asked by: cjMara
Thank you for your inquiry. The use of mouse monoclonal antibodies with mouse samples is very common and typically poses no problem. To eliminate any potential cross-reactivity of an anti-mouse secondary detection reagent, CD45 (F10-89-4): sc-52490 is available in a variety of direct conjugations, such as HRP, PE, FITC and AlexaFluors.
