PPP2R4 Antibody (5G3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects PPP2R4 in mouse, rat, and human samples through western blotting (WB) and immunoprecipitation (IP). Anti-PPP2R4 antibody (5G3) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates, providing versatility for different experimental needs. PPP2R4, also known as protein phosphatase 2A activator, regulatory subunit 4, plays a crucial role in the regulation of protein phosphatase 2A (PP2A) activity, which is essential for controlling various cellular processes such as cell growth, division, and apoptosis. Located primarily in the cytoplasm and nucleus, PPP2R4 interacts with the PP2A holoenzyme, enhancing phosphatase activity in an ATP- and magnesium-dependent manner. This interaction is vital for maintaining cellular homeostasis and responding to stress signals, as dysregulation of PP2A activity has been implicated in numerous diseases, including cancer. PPP2R4 exists in four isoforms—alpha, beta, delta, and epsilon—resulting from alternative splicing, which may contribute to functional diversity and regulatory mechanisms within different cellular contexts.
