Neuritin Antibody (B-9) is a mouse monoclonal IgM kappa antibody that detects Neuritin protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-Neuritin antibody (B-9) is available as the non-conjugated form. Neuritin plays a crucial role in neuronal plasticity, as Neuritin (B-9) monoclonal antibody recognizes a glycosylphosphatidylinositol-anchored protein induced by neural activity and neurotrophins such as brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) and neurotrophin-3 (NT-3). Neuritin protein is primarily located in the extracellular space, where Neuritin modulates neurite growth, making Neuritin essential for the development and maintenance of neuronal connections. Neuritin′s presence in both developing and adult nervous systems highlights Neuritin′s importance in facilitating synaptic plasticity and neuronal survival. Additionally, Neuritin′s expression is influenced by external stimuli, such as light stimulation of the visual cortex, indicating Neuritin′s potential role in sensory processing and adaptation. By understanding Neuritin′s function and significance, researchers can gain insights into mechanisms underlying neurodevelopmental processes and neurodegenerative diseases, making anti-Neuritin antibody (B-9) a valuable tool for studying these complex biological phenomena.
