KLK7 Antibody (1407) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a light chain antibody that detects kallikrein 7 (KLK7) in human samples through western blotting (WB) and immunoprecipitation (IP). KLK7 is a member of the kallikrein family of serine proteases, which play crucial roles in various physiological processes, including the regulation of blood pressure, inflammation, and tissue remodeling. Anti-KLK7 antibody (1407) specifically recognizes KLK7 primarily expressed in the skin, where KLK7 participates in the proteolytic processing of extracellular matrix components essential for maintaining skin integrity and function. KLK7 monoclonal antibody (1407) enables research into KLK7′s potential role in skin disorders and cancer, as aberrant expression of kallikreins has been linked to tumor progression and metastasis. KLK7 is also implicated in the activation of other proteases, highlighting KLK7′s significance in proteolytic cascades that influence cellular behavior and tissue homeostasis. KLK7 (1407) antibody serves as a valuable tool for researchers investigating the biological functions and clinical implications of this important protease.
