    SEE ALSO...

EEIG1 Antibody (C-8) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects EEIG1 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). EEIG1 (C-8) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates, providing versatility for different experimental needs. EEIG1, also known as Early estrogen-induced gene 1 protein or FAM102A, consists of 384 amino acids and is primarily involved in mediating estrogen action, which is crucial for various physiological processes, including reproductive health and cellular growth regulation. EEIG1 is notably induced by 17 beta-estradiol and other estrogenic compounds, while expression is suppressed by antiestrogens such as 4-hydroxy-tamoxifen and ICI 182,780. EEIG1 is encoded by a gene located on human chromosome 9, a region significant for its role in hereditary hemorrhagic telangiectasia and familial dysautonomia, as well as housing the largest cluster of interferon family genes, highlighting importance in immune response regulation. Two alternative splice variants of EEIG1 further underscore the complexity of regulation and function, making anti-EEIG1 antibody (C-8) an essential tool for researchers studying estrogen signaling pathways and their implications in health and disease.
