8-iso-17-フェニルトリノールプロスタグランジンF2α（8-iso-17-フェニルトリノールPGF2α）は、PGF2αの代謝的に安定なアナログであるビマトプロスト（遊離酸）のC-8エピマーである。ビマトプロスト（遊離酸）は、ヒツジ黄体細胞のFPレセプターに、PGF2αのそれと比べて756％の相対的効力をもって結合する1。CHO細胞で発現させたラットの組換えFPレセプターにおいて、ビマトプロストはPGF2αの結合を1.1 nMのKiで阻害する2。8-iso-17-フェニルトリノールPGF2αの薬理学的特性に関する研究は発表されていない。
