6-ケトプロスタグランジンF1α-d4（6-ケトPGF1α-d4）は、3、3'、4、および4'位に4個の重水素原子を含む。6-ケトプロスタグランジンF1α（6-ケトPGF1α）は、PGI2(1,2)の不活性な非酵素的加水分解産物である。 6-ケトPGF1αは、生体内におけるPGI2生合成のマーカーとして有用である(3)。 健康なヒト男性に[3H]-PGI2を注射すると、放射能の6.6%が尿から[3H]-6-ケトPGF1αとして回収される(3)。
