TSSK 2 Antibody (S-09) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects TSSK 2 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-TSSK 2 antibody (S-09) is available as a non-conjugated format. TSSK 2, also known as testis-specific serine kinase 2, DGS-G (DiGeorge syndrome protein G), SPOGA2, or STK22B (serine/threonine-protein kinase 22B), is a serine/threonine kinase that plays a crucial role in the late stages of spermatogenesis, localizing primarily to the cytoplasm. TSSK 2 is characterized by a single protein kinase domain and utilizes magnesium as a cofactor to catalyze the transfer of a phosphate group from ATP to target proteins, such as SPAG16. TSSK 2 (S-09) monoclonal antibody enables research into male fertility and developmental disorders, as loss of TSSK 2 due to chromosomal deletion has been implicated in velocardiofacial/DiGeorge syndrome (VCFS/DGS), which is characterized by a range of developmental anomalies including palate and facial deformities, immunodeficiency, and cardiac malformations. With significant roles in both reproductive biology and developmental health, anti-TSSK 2 antibody (S-09) serves as a valuable tool for researchers studying these critical areas.
