SEE ALSO...

PKD2 Antibody (F-2) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects PKD2 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). PKD2 Antibody (F-2) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. PKD2 protein, also known as protein kinase D2, PRKD2, or HSPC187, is a crucial member of the protein kinase D family, which plays a significant role in various cellular processes. PKD2 is primarily located in the cytoplasm but can translocate to the nucleus upon activation, which is essential for regulating gene expression. This translocation is particularly important as PKD2 influences transcriptional activation of target genes, such as Nur77, while also promoting nuclear exclusion of histone deacetylase 7 (HDAC7). PKD2′s ability to shuttle between cytoplasm and nucleus underscores PKD2′s role in mediating signaling pathways initiated by G-protein-coupled receptors, thereby impacting processes like cell proliferation, apoptosis, and migration. anti-PKD2 antibody (F-2)′s diverse applications make this reagent an invaluable tool for researchers studying PKD2′s intricate roles in cellular signaling and gene regulation.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-374344 P appropriate for?

Asked by: Randy McDonald
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
