Cdc5L Antibody (21) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects Cdc5L in mouse, rat, human, and canine samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and immunofluorescence (IF). Cdc5L, or Cell division cycle 5-like protein, plays a crucial role in the regulation of the cell cycle and is essential for pre-mRNA splicing, a process vital for proper gene expression. Cdc5L is located primarily in the nucleus, where Cdc5L participates in the formation of spliceosomal complexes necessary for accurate intron removal from pre-mRNA. Cdc5L′s presence in the nucleus underscores its importance in gene expression regulation, as disruption in this process can lead to various diseases, including cancer. Notably, Cdc5L contains two HTH myb-type DNA-binding domains, which facilitate interaction with DNA and other proteins involved in transcriptional regulation. Additionally, chromosomal aberrations involving Cdc5L have been linked to multicystic renal dysplasia, highlighting Cdc5L′s significance in developmental processes and potential as a biomarker for certain pathologies. anti-Cdc5L antibody (21) is an invaluable tool for researchers studying the intricacies of cell cycle regulation and gene expression.
