Sialosyl Lewis a Antibody (B358) is an IgM mouse monoclonal Sialosyl Lewis a antibody (also designated Sialosyl Lewis a antibody) that detects the Sialosyl Lewis a protein of human origin by IF and IHC(P). Sialosyl Lewis a Antibody (B358) is available as the non-conjugated anti-Sialosyl Lewis a antibody. Sialylated Lewis x and Sialylated Lewis a (also designated Sialosyl Lewis a) antigens, which are structural isomers of each other, are carbohydrate antigens that may be useful in detecting many types of human cancer including breast, pancreas, stomach and hematopoietic neoplastic. Increased expression of Sialosyl Lewis a is a sign of neoplastic transformation for a variety of carcinomas. Glycoproteins and gangliosides that carry Sialosyl Lewis a structures may effectively support the adhesion of cancer cells to E-Selectin when properly exposed and present in high density on surface of cancer cells.
