    SEE ALSO...

H2-I/Abβ Antibody (25-9-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgM antibody that detects H2-I/Ab beta protein of mouse origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and flow cytometry (FCM). Anti-H2-I/Ab beta antibody (25-9-3) is available as the non-conjugated format. H2-I/Ab beta protein plays a crucial role in the immune system as a component of the major histocompatibility complex (MHC) class II molecules, which are essential for the adaptive immune response. MHC class II molecules are primarily located on the surface of antigen-presenting cells, such as B cells, macrophages, and dendritic cells, where they bind and present foreign peptides to CD4+ T cells. This interaction is vital for the activation of T lymphocytes, which orchestrate the immune response against pathogens. H2-I/Ab beta′s ability to present a diverse array of peptides is influenced by its polymorphic nature, allowing for a tailored immune response to various antigens. Additionally, MHC class II molecule expression can be induced by interferon-g, enhancing the immune system′s ability to respond to infections. Understanding H2-I/Ab beta′s function and importance is essential for research into immune responses and potential therapeutic applications in immunology.
