QUICK LINKS

Latrunculin B is a structurally unique marine toxin. It inhibits actin polymerization in vitro and disrupts microfilament organization as well as microfilament-mediated processes. This inhibition is done by sequestering G-actin and preventing F-actin assembly 10 to 100-fold more potent than cytochalasins.
