hnRNP K/J Antibody (3C2) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects hnRNP K/J protein of mouse, rat, human, and Xenopus origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and flow cytometry (FCM). hnRNP K/J (3C2) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. The heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein K (hnRNP K) plays a crucial role in mRNA metabolism, including transcription, pre-mRNA processing, and the transport of mature mRNA to the cytoplasm for translation. hnRNP K primarily localizes in the nucleus but can shuttle between the nucleus and cytoplasm, which is essential for regulating gene expression. hnRNP K contains two K homologous (KH) domains that facilitate interactions with various molecular partners, thereby influencing multiple cellular processes. Additionally, hnRNP K has several phosphorylation sites, including Ser 302, which is a major site for protein kinase C delta phosphorylation.
