NT-3 Antibody (J1407) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects NT-3 protein of human origin by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-NT-3 antibody (J1407) is available as a non-conjugated isotype antibody. Neurotrophin-3 (NT-3) plays a crucial role in the development and maintenance of the nervous system, particularly in the survival and differentiation of specific neuronal populations. NT-3 (J1407) monoclonal antibody is primarily located in the central nervous system and peripheral nervous system, where NT-3 binds to the Trk C receptor, promoting neuronal survival and growth. This interaction is vital for the proper functioning of sensory neurons and motor neurons, as NT-3 helps to ensure that these cells receive the necessary signals for their survival and development. The importance of NT-3 is underscored by involvement in various neurodegenerative diseases and injuries, where NT-3 expression can influence neuronal repair and regeneration. Anti-NT-3 antibody (J1407) enables valuable insights into the mechanisms of neurotrophic signaling and implications in neuronal health and disease.
