Der GAPDH-Antikörper (D-6) ist ein monoklonaler Maus IgG2b κ GAPDH-Antikörper, der GAPDH von Maus-, Ratte- und menschlicher Herkunft durch WB, IP, IF, IHC (P) und ELISA nachweist. Der GAPDH-Antikörper (D-6) ist als nicht konjugierte Form des Anti-GAPDH-Antikörpers sowie als mehrere konjugierte Formen des Anti-GAPDH-Antikörpers, einschließlich Agarose, HRP, PE, FITC und mehreren Alexa Fluor®-Konjugaten, erhältlich. Glyceraldehyd-3-phosphat-Dehydrogenase (GAPDH), auch als Uracil-DNA-Glycosylase bezeichnet, katalysiert die reversible oxidative Phosphorylierung von Glyceraldehyd-3-phosphat in Gegenwart von anorganischem Phosphat und Nicotinamid-Adenin-Dinukleotid (NAD), ein wichtiger energieliefernder Schritt in der Kohlenhydratmetabolismus. Während GAPDH lange als integraler Bestandteil der Glykolyse anerkannt wurde, umfassen weitere Funktionen von GAPDH die Aktivierung der Transkription, das Binden von RNA und die Beteiligung am nukleären RNA-Export, an der DNA-Replikation und an der DNA-Reparatur.
