Attachment Factors for Cell Culture
Collagen type I and Collagen type IV are useful protein in cell culture when used as either thin layer on tissue-culture surfaces to enhance cell attachment and proliferation, or as a gel to promote expression of cell-specific morphology and function. Fibronectin promotes attachment, spreading, and proliferation of a variety of cell types or can be used as an additive to serum-free culture medium. Laminin has biological activities including promotion of cell adhesion, migration, growth, and differentiation, including neurite outgrowth. All attachment factors are provided sterile for safe cell culture use.
