ZNF492 Inhibitors

Chemical inhibitors of ZNF492 can exert their influence through interference with key signaling pathways and cellular processes that are integral to the protein's function. Palbociclib, Ribociclib, and Abemaciclib are inhibitors of CDK4/6, enzymes that play a crucial role in the progression of the cell cycle. By inhibiting CDK4/6, these chemicals can hinder the phosphorylation processes that ZNF492 may regulate, effectively impeding the protein's ability to modulate cellular proliferation. As ZNF492 is implicated in transcription regulation linked to cell cycle control, the disruption of CDK4/6 activity by these chemicals directly diminishes the functional capabilities of ZNF492 in this context.

The PI3K/mTOR signaling pathway is another critical route through which ZNF492 operates, influencing cellular growth and metabolism. Chemicals such as Omipalisib, PF-04691502, NVP-BEZ235, Torin 1, AZD8055, AZD2014, INK128, KU-0063794, and GDC-0941 can inhibit this pathway at various junctures. By targeting PI3K or mTOR, or both, these inhibitors can obstruct the signaling cascade that ZNF492 is involved with.
