Vasohibin-1 Inhibitors

Vasohibin-1 inhibitors are chemical compounds that specifically target and inhibit Vasohibin-1, a protein that is endogenously produced by endothelial cells and known to play a role in the negative feedback regulation of angiogenesis, the process of new blood vessel formation. Vasohibin-1 functions as an angiogenesis inhibitor by suppressing the proliferation and migration of endothelial cells. This protein is typically induced by angiogenic factors and serves to moderate the angiogenic signaling cascade.
