AIFL Antibodies

Santa Cruz Biotechnology delivers a wide array of AIFL monoclonal antibodies for studying apoptosis-inducing factor, mitochondrion-associated 1 (AIFM1). AIFL monoclonal antibodies are validated for multiple applications, including western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), flow cytometry (FCM), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). AIFM1 is crucial for mediating apoptosis and plays a significant role in cellular responses to stress. AIFM1 functions in the regulation of mitochondrial activity and has been linked to various neurodegenerative diseases. Research has shown that AIFM1 participates in both caspase-dependent and caspase-independent cell death pathways. AIFM1 translocates from mitochondria to the nucleus during apoptosis, where it contributes to chromatin condensation and DNA fragmentation. Understanding AIFM1's role is essential for elucidating the mechanisms of cell death and survival. Investigating AIFM1 function can provide insights into potential therapeutic strategies for neurodegenerative conditions. Santa Cruz Biotechnology monoclonal antibodies enable researchers worldwide to advance scientific understanding of AIFM1's role in health and disease.
