TAF II p68 Antibody (TAF15B11A6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects TAF II p68 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB) and immunoprecipitation (IP). Anti-TAF II p68 antibody (TAF15B11A6) is available as a non-conjugated format. TAF II p68, also known as TAF15, RBP56, or TAF2N, plays a crucial role in regulating gene expression as a member of the RNA polymerase II multiprotein complex, which is essential for transcribing protein-coding genes. TAF II p68 is primarily located in the nucleus, where TAF II p68 interacts with various transcription factors and components of the transcription machinery, facilitating preinitiation complex assembly at target gene promoter regions. Proper localization of TAF II p68 is vital for function, ensuring correct positioning of transcriptional machinery to initiate RNA synthesis.
