ZM 323881 hydrochloride is a potent and selective inhibitor of human Flk-1 (vascular endothelial growth factor receptor 2, VEGFR-2/KDR) activity. ZM 323881 hydrochloride inhibits VEGF-A-induced endothelial cell proliferation in vitro (IC50 = 8 nM). Selectively inhibits Flk-1 (VEGFR-2) (IC50 = 2 nM) over VEGFR-1 and a range of other receptor tyrosine kinases. ZM 323881 hydrochloride is an inhibitor of EGFR, Flg and PDGFR-β.
