Anti-EF-Ts Antibody (A-10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 (kappa light chain) EF-Ts antibody provided at 200 µg/ml
raised against amino acids 36-325 mapping at the C-terminus of EF-Ts of human origin
Anti-EF-Ts Antibody (A-10) is recommended for detection of EF-Ts of mouse, rat and human origin by WB, IP, IF and ELISA
Anti-EF-Ts Antibody (A-10) is available conjugated to agarose for IP; HRP for WB, IHC(P) and ELISA; and to either phycoerythrin or FITC for IF, IHC(P) and FCM
also available conjugated to Alexa Fluor® 488, Alexa Fluor® 546, Alexa Fluor® 594 or Alexa Fluor® 647 for WB (RGB), IF, IHC(P) and FCM, and for use with RGB fluorescent imaging systems, such as iBright™ FL1000, FluorChem™, Typhoon, Azure and other comparable systems
also available conjugated to Alexa Fluor® 680 or Alexa Fluor® 790 for WB (NIR), IF and FCM; for use with Near-Infrared (NIR) detection systems, such as LI-COR®Odyssey®, iBright™ FL1000, FluorChem™, Typhoon, Azure and other comparable systems

EF-Ts Antibody (A-10) is a high quality monoclonal EF-Ts antibody (also designated EF-Ts antibody) suitable for the detection of the EF-Ts protein of mouse, rat and human origin. EF-Ts Antibody (A-10) is available as both the non-conjugated anti-EF-Ts antibody form, as well as multiple conjugated forms of anti-EF-Ts antibody, including agarose, HRP, PE, FITC and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. EF-Ts, also known as TSFM (Ts translation elongation factor, mitochondrial) or COXPD3, is a 325 amino acid protein that is one of 13 mitochondrial-encoded proteins that work together during the elongation phase of protein biosynthesis on the ribosome. Expressed ubiquitously with highest levels present in liver, kidney and skeletal muscle, EF-Ts associates with EF-Tu, a multidomain GTPase with essential functions in translation, and, via this interaction, facilitates the exchange of GDP for GTP, thereby inducing protein elongation. Mutations in the gene encoding EF-Ts are the cause of combined oxidative phosphorylation deficiency type 3 (COXPD3), a condition characterized by defects in the mitochondrial oxidative phosphorylation system and often characterized by severe metabolic acidosis with encephalomyopathy or with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. Multiple isoforms of EF-Ts exist due to alternative splicing events.
