Thiazovivin significantly enhances the efficiency of fibroblast reprogramming to generate induced pluripotent stem cells when used in combination with SB 431542 (sc-204265) and PD 0325901 (sc-205427). It is known to improve the survival of human embryonic stem cells upon trypsinization. It also behaves as an inhibitor of Rho-associated kinase (ROCK).
