SB-415286 is an ATP-competitive inhibitor of GSK3α (Glycogen Synthase Kinase 3α) with a Ki value of 31 nM. SB-415286 displays similar potency for GSK-3β. Alternate studies suggest that SB-415286 stabilizes β-catenin, which in turn leads to inhibition of coxsackievirus-induced cell death.
