does this product work on zebrafish embryo?any suggestion for zebrafish use,the product SC-216 is not available now!

Asked by: liyana
Thank you for your question. We are not aware of any publications citing use of this mouse monoclonal antibody, PKC α (H-7): sc-8393, in zebrafish samples. The antibody is raised against a peptide that does share significant (76%) sequence identity with PKC α in zebrafish, so there is a good chance that it would work in this species. For a limited time, we are offering a free 10 µg sample of this antibody. Please contact our Technical Service Department if you would like to request a sample to test in zebrafish.

What secondary detection reagent should be used with PKC α Antibody (H-7) for Western blot?

Asked by: Trav11
We recommend using one of our exclusive Mouse IgG Binding Proteins as a secondary detection reagent, such as m-IgGκ BP-HRP: sc-516102, for Western blot. A complete list of all available binding proteins is available on our website here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/browse/support-products-mouse-igg-binding-proteins/_/N-ecrety

Rated 5 out of 5 by from IHC The relationship between the expression of PKC- alpha protein and the clinicopathological features of lung cancer was detected by IHC with this antibody. It is found that PKC-A is closely related to the development of lung cancer. We found PKA-A canbe used assit for lung cancer diagnosis. We recommend the use of 1:300 for immunohistochemistry.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Seemed good for western blotting I used mouse Hepa1-6 cell lysates with loading gradient to check this antibody in western blotting. Antibody was diluted 1000X and incubated at 4℃ overnight. The exposure results showed one single band at around 90KD. But I didn’t use si specific genes to check whether this band was specific.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from comletely worked Overexpressed HA-PKCa in 293 cells was strongly detected. There are no non-specific band. PKCb and d were not cross reacted. endogenous PKCa was detected in 293 cell lysates. 1/1000 dil in 2% BSA TBST, o/n reaction.
