Pefloxacin mesylate dihydrate is an analog of norfloxacin. Fluoroquinolone antibacterial agent and prevents bacterial DNA replication by inhibiting Topo II α (DNA gyrase). Very effective against Staphylococcus aureus, E. coli, other enterobacteria and Pseudomonas aeruginosa. High effect.
