I want to measure insulin sensitivity and several tyrosine domains are phosphorylated in response to insulin. For example in both insulin receptors and in IRS. Does the antibody detetct all p-tyr, and I differentiate between them depending on weight?

Yes, you are correct, this mouse monoclonal antibody, p-Tyr (PY99): sc-7020, specifically detects phosphotyrosine-containing proteins (and does not cross-reactive with phosphoserine or phosphothreonine-containing proteins). If you are using the antibody for Western blotting, then the molecular weight you detect in your samples is representative of different phosphorylated proteins. You would need to do further testing to identify which specific proteins are phosphorylated in your samples.
