Nanaomycin αA is a selective Dnmt3b inhibitor with antibiotic, antimycoplasmic, and antifugal properties. It is also an inducer of antiproliferative effects in tumor cell lines and a Ras-competitive non-CAAX mimetic type farnesyltransferase (FTase) inhibitor.
