    • 1 mL of 10X Reaction buffer and 1 mL of 10X MnCl2 included with each size
    • Lambda Phosphatase (Lambda PP) is a Mn2+-dependent protein phosphatase with activity towards phosphorylated serine, threonine and tyrosine residues. The enzyme is inhibited by vanadate ions and can be heat inactivated at 65° C for 1 hour in the presence of 50 mM EDTA
    • Purity: minimum 95% (SDS-PAGE) with no detectable protease, DNase, or RNase activity
    • supplied as a solution containing approximately 400,000 units of protein per ml in 50 mM Tris-HCl, pH 7.5, 0.1 mM EGTA, 0.01% BRIJ 35 and 50% glycerol
    • Unit Definition: One unit will hydrolyze 1 nmole of p-nitophenyl phosphate per minute at 30° C and pH 7.5

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great- verstile I use this routinely to verify phospho- antibodies and to de-phosphorylate proteins for binding assays. I use Lambda Phospatase to de-phosphorylate proteins in a crude cell lysate, on a western blot itself, or on fixed cells on a cover slip.
