Immunophilin Ligands

Immunophilins are enzymes which convert cis and trans peptide bonds of the amino acid proline. They also play a role in immunosupression which does not rely on their prolyl isomerase activity. Immunophilin ligands are able to bind and interact with immunophilins to activate or inhibit their activity.
