Veratramine Hydrochloride is a cell-permeable steroidal alkaloid that is structurally related to cyclopamine (sc-200929), cyclopamine-KAAD (sc-221448), and jervine (sc-200934). It can be used as an inactive control for these compounds in sonic hedgehog (Shh) signaling studies.
