    • Nylon transfer membrane has a higher binding capacity than nitrocellulose membranes. Nucleic acid binding is 350 µg/cm2.
    • Nylon transfer membrane is naturally hydrophilic, eliminating the need for wetting agents. Membrane wets out evenly and quickly.
    • Membrane has a pore size of 0.45 µm.
    • Nylon transfer membrane is often used for single probe transfers.

I can use this membranes for CMI with electrogenics bacterias?

Thank you for your question. We have not used our UltraCruz® Nylon Transfer Membranes as a cation exchange (CMI) membrane. And we are not aware of any publications citing use of these membranes for these applications.
