Tris(4,7-diphenyl-1,10-phenanthroline)ruthenium(II) bis(hexafluorophosphate) complex is a preparation of ruthenium used in the design of chemiluminescent optical sensors for oxygen detection. Tris(4,7-diphenyl-1,10-phenanthroline)ruthenium(II) bis(hexafluorophosphate) has also been described in the design and construction of solid-state light-emitting electrochemical cells.

I want to detect the oxygen from 35% w/w H2O2 solution. Does H2O2 also react with this dye? Second question, What is the composition of this production? Is it pure or mixed with other material (eg. polystyrene beads)? Thanks a lot for your answer

Thank you for your question. We do not know if this compound is reactive with H2O2. This chemical is a complex of tris(bathophenanthroline) ruthenium(II) and 2 hexafluorophosphate molecules. It is not mixed with any other compounds.
