Anti-TBCC Antibody (G-10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 (kappa light chain) TBCC antibody provided at 200 µg/ml
raised against amino acids 258-346 mapping at the C-terminus of TBCC of human origin
Anti-TBCC Antibody (G-10) is recommended for detection of TBCC of mouse, rat and human origin by WB, IP, IF, IHC(P) and ELISA
Anti-TBCC Antibody (G-10) is available conjugated to agarose for IP; HRP for WB, IHC(P) and ELISA; and to either phycoerythrin or FITC for IF, IHC(P) and FCM
also available conjugated to Alexa Fluor® 488, Alexa Fluor® 546, Alexa Fluor® 594 or Alexa Fluor® 647 for WB (RGB), IF, IHC(P) and FCM, and for use with RGB fluorescent imaging systems, such as iBright™ FL1000, FluorChem™, Typhoon, Azure and other comparable systems
also available conjugated to Alexa Fluor® 680 or Alexa Fluor® 790 for WB (NIR), IF and FCM; for use with Near-Infrared (NIR) detection systems, such as LI-COR®Odyssey®, iBright™ FL1000, FluorChem™, Typhoon, Azure and other comparable systems

TBCC Antibody (G-10) is a high quality monoclonal TBCC antibody (also designated TBCC antibody) suitable for the detection of the TBCC protein of mouse, rat and human origin. TBCC Antibody (G-10) is available as both the non-conjugated anti-TBCC antibody form, as well as multiple conjugated forms of anti-TBCC antibody, including agarose, HRP, PE, FITC and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Microtubules, the primary component of the cytoskeletal network, are highly dynamic structures composed of α/β Tubulin heterodimers. Biosynthesis of functional microtubules involve the participation of several chaperones, termed tubulin folding cofactors A (TBCA), D (TBCD), E (TBCE) and C (TBCC), that act on folding intermediates downstream of the cytosolic chaperonin, alternatively named TCP. TBCC (Tubulin-specific chaperone C), also known as β Tubulin-folding cofactor C or CFC, is a 346 amino acid protein belonging to the TBCD family. Interaction with TBCC causes the release of tubulin polypeptides that are committed to the native state. TBCC shares significant homology with X-linked retinitis pigmentosa 2 gene RP2, in which mutations cause the progressive degeneration of photoreceptor cells.

Can TBCC (G-10): sc-390635 monoclonal antibody be used to stain formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissue sections?
Asked by: Trav11
Thank you for your question. Yes, TBCC (G-10): sc-390635 has been validated for use in IHC with paraffin-embedded sections. We recommend performing antigen retrieval with sodium citrate buffer (pH 6) and heat. The full protocol can be found here:
