S-(+)-Clopidogrel Hydrogen Sulfate is the S enantiomer of clopidogrel and acts as a P2Y12 receptor inhibitor. Inhibition of this receptor stops the signal transduction cascade responsible for platelet aggregation. Inhibition of the P2Y12 receptor by clopidogrel is irreversible.
