RHOD 2/AM is a membrane permeable form of RHOD 2 which operates in the visible spectrum. Used as a fluorescent probe for intracellular Ca2+. RHOD 2/AM binds to Ca2+ once it is hydrolyzed to RHOD 2 by endogenous esterases inside cells.
