Phosphatase Inhibitor Cocktail B is a cocktail of five phosphatase inhibitors which has been optimized for the inhibition of protein tyrosine phosphatases, as well as acid and alkaline phosphatases. It can be used on animal tissues, A431, or Jurkat cell extracts. Phosphatase Inhibitor Cocktail B is suitable for cell extracts containing detergents.
Each vial (reconstituted in 1ml) contains 200 mM Imidazole, 100 mM Sodium Fluoride, 115 mM Sodium Molybdate, 100 mM Sodium Orthovanadate and 400 mM Sodium Tartrate Dihydrate. I just ordered this product and i want to know that after Reconstitute each vial with 1 ml H2O to obtain a 1 ml stock solution.How can i storage at -20 or 4oC? and i want to add in RIPA buffer for extraction of protein so i want a procedure to use it .

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I use the Phosphatase Inhibitor Cocktail I use the Phosphatase Inhibitor Cocktail B together with Phosphatase Inhibitor Cocktail A (45044) on my cell lysates. The inhibition works very well! I can clearly detect phosphorylation on my Western Blots

Rated 5 out of 5 by from By having this Phosphatase Inhibitor Cocktail By having this Phosphatase Inhibitor Cocktail B present in the cell lysate, de-phosphorylation is prevented by any phosphatase enzymes that may be present in the sample. This action is demonstrated by treating K-562 cell lysate (containing this inhibitor as part of the lysis buffer) with lambda protein phosphatase to see if the phosphorylation of the Cofilin 1 protein can be altered. By WB, we can see that this inhibitor cocktail does indeed prevent lambda protein phosphatase from de-phosphorylating p-Cofilin 1 protein. -SCBT QC
