Phalloidin-Tetramethylrhodamine Conjugate is a fluorescent phalloidin (sc-202763) derivative that can be used to identify filamentous actin. It is a superior replacement to Phalloidin-Tetramethylrhodamine B isothiocyanate (sc-301530) because of the amide conjugation, which results in a more stable conjugate. It binds polymeric F actin, stabilizing it and interfering with the function of actin-rich structures. The rhodamine moiety then allows for visualization of F-actin through fluorescence. The dye excites at a wavelength of 546 nm and emits a wavelength of 575 nm.
