MMP-7 Antisense Oligonucleotide, Sodium Salt is an antimetastatic, 15-meric phosphorothioate antisense oligonucleotide (Tm = 35 °C) which suppresses MMP-7 expression at both the mRNA and protein levels. It is derived from the human MMP-7 DNA sequence in a sequence-specific manner in CaR-1, which is a human colon cancer cell line. MMP-7 Antisense Oligonucleotide, Sodium Salt also effectively inhibits metastasis of colon cancer cells (WiDr) to the liver in a nude mouse model.
