I am using MEK-7 (E-7): sc-25288 monoclonal antibody to stain paraffin embedded tissue. Do you recommend antigen retrieval when using this antibody?

Asked by: cjMara
We recommend performing antigen retrieval with sodium citrate buffer (pH 6) and heat. The full protocol can be found here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/immunoperoxidase-staining

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excelente en inmunoblot Un anticuerpo que da unos resultados muy robustos, claros y altamente específicos. Lo hemos probado en el análisis por inmunoblot de extractos crudos de macrófagos de médula ósea. El primer análisis lo diluímos 1:250 pero seguro que funciona más diluído.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very good antibody for Western blotting. This product has been independently tested and validated in-house at Kinexus Bioinformatics Corporation as a potent and highly specific antibody for Western blotting with a mixture of mouse brain, testes and thymus tissue lysates. It detects an appropriately sized ~47 kDa target protein in immunoblots with medium to strong intensity.
