    • specific for an epitope mapping between amino acids 11-34 near the N-terminus of Mcm2 of Saccharomyces cerevisiae origin
    • Mcm2 Antibody (C-3) is recommended for detection of Mcm2 of S. cerevisiae origin by WB, IP, IF and ELISA
    • Anti-Mcm2 Antibody (C-3) is available conjugated to agarose for IP; HRP for WB, IHC(P) and ELISA; and to either phycoerythrin or FITC for IF, IHC(P) and FCM
    • also available conjugated to Alexa Fluor® 488, Alexa Fluor® 546, Alexa Fluor® 594 or Alexa Fluor® 647 for WB (RGB), IF, IHC(P) and FCM, and for use with RGB fluorescent imaging systems, such as iBright™ FL1000, FluorChem™, Typhoon, Azure and other comparable systems
    • also available conjugated to Alexa Fluor® 680 or Alexa Fluor® 790 for WB (NIR), IF and FCM; for use with Near-Infrared (NIR) detection systems, such as LI-COR®Odyssey®, iBright™ FL1000, FluorChem™, Typhoon, Azure and other comparable systems
    • Contact our Technical Service Department (or your local Distributor) for more information on how to receive a FREE 10 µg sample of Mcm2 (C-3): sc-515723.
    • m-IgGκ BP-HRP is the preferred secondary detection reagent for Mcm2 Antibody (C-3) for WB applications. This reagent is now offered in a bundle with Mcm2 Antibody (C-3) (see ordering information below). For additional m-IgGκ BP conjugates see our complete list of Mouse IgG Binding Proteins.

What blocking solution should I use with Mcm2 (C-3): sc-515723 monoclonal antibody for Western blot?

Asked by: DefinitelyNotMatt
Thank you for your question. We recommend blocking with Blotto (either TBS Blotto A: sc-2333 or TBS Blotto B: sc-2335). Our Western blot protocol can be found here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/western-immuno-blotting

Rated 2 out of 5 by from not a great antibody for WB This antibody generates a very weak (barely detectable) signal at the predicted position on the WB (1:500 dilution, 40ug HeLa extract). Perhaps loading more extract would be helpful
