Laminin γ-1 Antibody (D-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects Laminin γ-1 of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and immunohistochemistry. Anti-Laminin γ-1 antibody (D-3) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Laminins, including Laminin γ-1, are crucial structural components of basement membranes, which are specialized extracellular matrices that provide support and anchorage for cells. These membranes are not only vital for maintaining tissue architecture but also play a significant role in regulating cellular behaviors such as proliferation, migration, and differentiation. The unique structure of laminins, which consists of heterotrimers formed by alpha, beta, and gamma chains, allows them to self-assemble and interact with other matrix components, facilitating the formation of stable basement membranes. The human laminin gamma-1 gene is located on chromosome 1q31 and is expressed in various tissues, highlighting its importance in the development and maintenance of tissues that require a robust extracellular matrix. Laminin γ-1 (D-3) monoclonal antibody is an essential tool for researchers studying the dynamics of basement membranes and their impact on cellular functions in health and disease.
